Casino Awards Ceremonies in February 2019

After all the hard work in 2018 online operators and software providers can look forward to no less than three award ceremonies in February 2019, including the IGA, GGA and the British Casino Awards return to London on the 5th of February.

The IGA is supported by gaming clients from the gaming world as well as renowned industry insiders. Global Gaming Awards – London – 4 February 2019

Both the recommendations and self-nomination submissions count towards the selection of nominations in sixteen different categories, while the London Judging Panel cast the votes and choose the winners.

Several new categories are added to the London awards created to recognise, reward and embrace the differences between international markets, this year the new categories include payment providers, online poker, bingo as well as sports betting operators and suppliers.

Second British Casino Award Ceremony

Publishers of the Casino International, Datateam Business Media have just announced that due to the success of the inaugural event The British Casino Awards take place on the 5th of February 2019 in London. The rewards night is scheduled so that it takes place at the same time as the ICE London B2B gaming event in order to bring both the international offline and online gaming sectors together. The ICE London event takes place form the 5th to the 7th of February, and the awards ceremony will reward products and people for excellence in gaming as well as other services that makes the industry great.

The British Casino Award ceremony takes place at the Hippodrome Casino in central London after nominations and entries was already opened in September of 2018.

The first British Casino Awards Ceremony took place on the 7th of February 2018, and this year the awards are again split into three sections, including people, products and operators. These included;

  • Independent UK Casino Operator of the Year – Awarded to any UK based operator with up to three casinos
  • Multiple UK Casino Operator of the Year – Awarded to any UK-based operator with more than three casinos
  • Overall Casino Operator of the Year – Awarded to any UK or Europe based operator
  • European Casino Operator of the Year – Awarded to any independent or multiple European operator (excluding UK) – Best UK Marketing Programme

Product Awards

  • Best UK Table Gaming Product (including ETG) – Awarded to any table gaming product (including electronic table games) licensed to operate in a UK casino of any size.
  • Best UK CMS/Software Product – Awarded to any CMS and software product licensed to operate in a UK casino of any size.

People Awards

  • Rising Star – Awarded to an employee at management level for outstanding work, not just in ensuring company diligence, but in people management and all-round skills. The employee must be working for a UK-based casino.
  • Outstanding Contribution Award – Bestowed upon an individual who has devoted a significant portion of their professional life to the gaming sector and has had a positive impact.
