NetEnt has been hinting the release of Grand Spinn and its progressive jackpot version Grand Spinn Superpot for quite some time. The two seemingly similar slots turned out to have only one but major difference: the latter offers a progressive jackpot.
The award-winning developer designed the two versions to satisfy the payout preferences to low and high-rollers equally.
Grand Spinn Slot and Grand Spinn Progressive Jackpot Slot
The two slots offer the same gameplay consisting of Multiplier Wilds, the Nudge feature and the three jackpots. They are both designed in Art Deco-style, portraying the luxurious, lavish lifestyle and glamour of the 1920s period. And, they both offer only 1 payline across 3 reels.
On the payline, you need to match three symbols to get a payout. To help you get more frequent wins, the Nudge feature will come in play. After any winning spin, it gets triggered, and if on the consecutive spin one of the symbols above the symbols from your winning combo is a matching symbol, the reel will nudge down and you will receive another payout for it. Until no other matching symbols appear, the feature will be active, and when it ends, you will see an arrow above one reel resetting the symbol to the first position again and giving a second chance to the Nudge chain reactions to start. With the Multiplier Wilds, though, your wins can be multiplied by 2, 4 or 8 when you land 1, 2 or 3 Wilds, respectively.
As for the jackpots, Grand Spinn offers three non-progressive ones, 40x, 200x and 10,000x the stake. Grand Spinn Superpot, on the other hand, offers the 40x and the 200x non-progressive, but also 1 progressive jackpot attached to NetEnt’s progressive jackpot network. You can trigger them by landing three corresponding red diamond symbols on the 1 payline.
The Developer’s Statement
The new progressive jackpot slot will join Mega Fortune, Hall of Gods, Mega Fortune Dreams and Divine Fortune progressive jackpot slots portfolio, games which made 10 new millionaires just last year. Bryan Upton, the Director of Games at NetEnt introduced the games to the online casino world saying that although players would be stepping back to the 1920s in Grand Spinn, the Art Deco-styled slot, they would enjoy the 21st-century payout potential Grand Spinn Superpot has to offer.
As a dual release, Upton said, regardless of players’ preferences, there would be a version for both low and high-rollers. As Upton clarified, there was a need for simple slots with unique features, so NetEnt developed two stylish games that could provide players with the payouts they would prefer.
